It all started with a tray of three-week-old brownies! I tried one, looked at my husband Troy and said, “Still unbelievably fudgy, still amazing… we have to share brownies like these.”
Food should make you feel something! Joy, nostalgia, indulgence. Our brownies are unapologetically indulgent, designed to make you feel good and to remind you that a little luxury is worth celebrating. They are never about guilt, shame, or “healthy swaps.” We will never do a sugar-free or keto version.
From Streaming to Brownies: Our Sweet Journey
Sharing has always been at the heart of what I do. Before Miss Molly Makes, I spent 7.5 years live-streaming on Twitch after leaving my operating room nursing career. Cooking online showed me something powerful: food has the ability to bring people together, no matter their race, religion, or politics, because everyone has to eat. That same spirit of connection runs through Miss Molly Makes today.
Brownies felt like the perfect canvas. Everyone knows them, but too often they are dry, cakey, and forgettable. I wanted to change that. By using rich chocolate, great quality butter, and a recipe built for fudginess, I set out to create brownies that make you close your eyes, smile, and say “oh my god” with a mouth full. The kind of brownies you instantly want to share with your partner, your friends, your colleagues — because food tastes better when it is shared.
Customisation was also non-negotiable for me. I am the person who orders four entrées instead of one main just to try everything, so naturally, I had to build that into our brand. With Miss Molly Makes, you can choose up to six flavours in a box, go naked or loaded, and even design themed slabs with words, sprinkles, and colours. The power is in your hands, because gifting should feel as personal as it is indulgent.
