We're not cheap; that's kinda the point
We’re not trying to be the cheapest brownies — we’re trying to be the best. We trialled cheaper chocolate. Every time, it came out oily, flat, or tasteless. It’s been hard, but we’d rather charge more and be proud of what we make than cut corners.
Real cocoa butter, not compound chocolate… even as cocoa prices have skyrocketed. Real butter, not margarine. Real pistachios and hazelnuts, not cheap fillers. Every choice is about what goes in, not what we can shave off the price.
These aren’t everyday snacking brownies. They’re made for indulging, for gifting and celebrating — for moments that deserve something extraordinary.
The Chocolate (and the Coffee Trick)
We use quality couverture chocolate and cocoa for real richness, bitterness, and boldness…not the sweet, one-note stuff. And yes, there’s a little coffee in there too. Not enough to taste, and not enough to keep you up… just enough to make the chocolate taste more like chocolate. It’s a food science trick: coffee doesn’t add its own flavour; it just turns the volume up on everything already there.
Butter, oil, and a shiny, crackly top
We whip our eggs and sugar together first, before anything else goes in; that’s what gives every batch that glossy, crackly top and a texture that stays smooth all the way through.
Most brownies dry out in a day or two. Ours don’t. Butter brings the flavour, a touch of oil keeps every bite moist and fudgy… long after a normal brownie would’ve already gone dry.
Built to Survive the Trip
Australia is huge, and we ship everywhere Aus Post goes! Our brownies are coated in tempered chocolate, which stays firm and holds its shape even through a summer transit. Every box is wrapped for freshness, and we can now add cool packs for extra protection against the heat. We’ve sent boxes to the Northern Territory, to Tasmania, and even tested shipments as far as the US and UK — three weeks in transit, and still deliciously fudgy.
Gluten-Free, Same Price, No Compromise
Molly’s found that her gluten-free friends spent years eating dry, lacklustre, overpriced GF substitutes. That’s not happening here. Having a gluten-free option, at the same price as everything else, even when it costs us more to make. Most people can’t tell the difference. If anything, our GF brownies come out fudgier.
Make It Yours
Every box lets you choose up to 6 flavours, whether you go naked, loaded, or fully themed. And “themed” means exactly what it sounds like — you pick the sprinkles, the icons, and the words written right on top. A cheeky message, a “feel better soon,” an inside joke only they’ll get. If you can dream it up, we can put it on a brownie.
Packaging Is Part of the Gift
Every box is designed by Molly and Troy, because how something arrives matters just as much as what’s inside. We wanted opening it to feel like its own occasion, not an afterthought. That’s the whole idea behind choosing brownies over flowers: something that looks as good as it tastes, and actually feels like a gift.
