Shipping & Returns Policy

At Miss Molly Makes, we guarantee a DISPATCH date but not a specific DELIVERY date. If you have an event you would like your order to arrive by, please let us know so we can try to get it there in time or early. If you aren’t fussed when the order needs to arrive by, please select ASAP. 

We use Australia Post’s Express service (WA Metro also has standard) to ensure your brownies arrive fresh and as quickly as possible. Delivery times from the dispatch date depend on Australia Post’s schedules. To estimate your delivery timeframe, visit the Australia Post website and enter our postcode (6210) along with your delivery postcode.

  • Metro WA: 1-2 business days for Express / 2-5 business days  Standard Shipping
  • Rural WA: 2 business days / 2-5 days Standard Shipping
  • Metro VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT, SA, TAS, NT: 1-2 business days (Express only)
  • Rural VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT, SA, TAS, NT: 2-3 business days (Express only)

Additional Notes:

  1. Public Holidays and Weekends:
    Australia Post does not deliver on weekends or public holidays, which may impact delivery timeframes.

  2. Summer Delivery Tips:
    To keep your brownies cool during hotter months, we recommend placing an esky or cooler at your front door if you won’t be home to receive your order.

  3. Tracking Information:
    You’ll receive tracking details via email or SMS as soon as your order is dispatched. Use these details to monitor your delivery progress.

  4. Secure Delivery Options:
    We ship to Parcel Lockers and PO Boxes for secure and temperature-controlled delivery—perfect for apartments or customers concerned about package theft.

  5. Customer Responsibility:
    Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery. Brownies are perishable, and we cannot take responsibility for items left unattended in unsuitable conditions.

All of our brownies are handmade to order, so they take time to prepare. Our standard processing times are 1-4 business days, and we bake early in the week to avoid having your delicious brownies sitting in a post office over the weekend.

During busy periods like Easter, Christmas, and other holidays, processing times may extend beyond 5 business days.

Rest assured, we’re working hard to get your order baked and shipped to you as quickly as possible (we want you to enjoy your brownies ASAP!). Please allow for processing time with all orders. Shipments may be delayed due to high order volume.

We do not personally deliver parcels; instead, we partner with third-party delivery services to ensure your order arrives in great condition. While we try to pack orders quickly and get them picked up, we cannot guarantee delivery dates, as delays can occasionally occur. If you’re concerned about receiving your order on a specific date, we recommend contacting us to avoid disappointment.

A signature may be required upon delivery. If you are not home when your parcel is delivered, you will recieve a notification and/or a note will be left explaining where and how to collect your order. We advise that once you have been notified about attempted delivery, you follow up immediately with your local post office to avoid having your product sent back to us.

If relevant, we will email you a tracking number after your order is processed & shipped, usually within just a few days. If you do not receive it, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist. Keep in mind that small envelopes and economy airmail do not include tracking. 

Miss Molly Makes is not responsible for any duties, fees, or taxes that are incurred during the delivery of your order/package. All fees incurred after or during shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Customers are solely responsible for any fees or charges incurred in the event a shipment is refused or otherwise returned to us.

We are not responsible for packages held by customs. Customers are solely responsible for being aware of and fully comply with all laws pertaining to the importing of materials purchased on our website.

Shipping costs vary depending on location and will be calculated at checkout. All fees incurred after or during shipping (e.g., import tax) are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Refund Policy

If you need to make changes to an order, this may be done within 24 hours of placing your order, provided production has not yet commenced.

If we have not yet commenced preparing your order, you may be eligible for either:

  • a refund minus the 2.8% transaction and processing fee, or

  • a store credit voucher for the full order value.

The outcome of cancellations and refunds is at the sole discretion of Miss Molly Makes.

Please note that the 2.8% transaction fee is non refundable and will be deducted from any refunded amount to cover bank and payment processing costs.

Because our brownies are perishable, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. If you need to amend your order, you may do so within 24 hours of placing it, provided production has not yet begun.

For merchandise (including aprons, cookbooks, stickers, and water bottles), returns are available if the item arrives damaged or defective. The merchandise must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

To initiate a return, please contact us at [email protected]. All returns must be pre-authorised—do not send any items back until we confirm. When reaching out, include a description and photo of the damaged item. Once approved, we can offer an exchange, store credit or a refund to your original payment method. Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your item.

Please note: We reserve the right to refuse a return if it doesn’t meet the conditions outlined above.

Return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility unless we state otherwise. In certain cases, we may provide a pre-paid return label.

After receiving and inspecting your returned items, we will contact you via the email provided at checkout. A refund or store credit will be issued if the return is accepted. Please allow some time for the refund to reflect on your account.

All sale items are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged unless deemed defective or damaged.

We are sorry that you are unsatisfied with your item. Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges on any items at this time. We only provide exchanges in certain circumstances as stated above.

We take great care in packaging your brownies with multiple layers to protect them during transit. While we do our best to prevent any issues, some movement is inevitable while they are being delivered. If your brownies arrive in less-than-ideal condition, please get in touch with us with photos of the damage. We will review the situation and determine if a replacement or refund is appropriate. Minor damage, like a small crack in the topping, may not qualify, but more significant damage, such as crushed brownies, will be considered for compensation.

Once your parcel is delivered, it becomes your responsibility. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for lost, damaged (including weather) or stolen items. To avoid this, please choose a delivery location and date when you know you’ll be available, or have the order sent to a secure location.

If you’ve entered the wrong delivery address, please get in touch with us at [email protected] as soon as possible. You’ll need to have your order number and some identifying info.

We’ll do our best to update the address before your order is dispatched. However, if the order has already been shipped, we may not be able to change the delivery address. In that case, you may need to contact Australia Post directly to see if they can assist. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
